This policy explains how we process personal data you provide through the forms on this site (demo request, pilot programme application, meeting booking) and data processed when operating the website. We comply with the GDPR (EU) 2016/679 and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll.

2. What data we collect
- Form data: full name, work email, company, role (optional), note and preferred meeting date.
- Technical data when visiting the site: IP address, browser and device type, date and time of access (server logs).
3. Purpose and legal basis
- To handle your request and communicate with you about a demo, pilot programme or meeting, including sending our NDA. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and your consent given by submitting the form [Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR].
- Operating, securing and protecting the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest [Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR].
4. Recipients and processors
We do not sell personal data. To operate the service we use trusted providers (processors) acting on our behalf:
- Website hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA).
- Email delivery and intake: Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES).
- Website analytics and consent management (cookies): Conseto.
Some providers are based outside the EU (e.g. in the USA). In that case transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another appropriate safeguard.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep form data for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up communication, and at most 24 months from the last contact, unless a specific law or a mutual agreement requires longer. Server logs are kept short-term for security purposes.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights at office@walkcheck.eu.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).
7. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed for it to function and optional cookies (e.g. for analytics) that we set only with your consent via the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
