First steps with Walk‑Check
For a club, a flying school or the owner of a single aircraft. From download to your first sealed record it is seven steps and one afternoon; most of them are done once.

Download the app
Android: you download the app straight from our site (that download page is in Slovak). Open the link on the phone and allow installation from this source when the phone asks.

Create your account
Right in the app, with an email and a password. We do not create accounts for you and you wait for nobody; registering also creates your organisation, whether that is a club of thirty members or you with one aircraft.

Accept the terms
Right after registering the app shows you the terms of use and the privacy policy. Your acceptance is recorded with the account, with the date and the version, so what you agreed to can be shown at any time.

Verify your email
A verification email arrives at the address you entered. Until you verify it you cannot start a walkaround: the Start walkaround button stays locked and the server refuses it. That is deliberate, not an obstacle: without a verified address the record would not be evidence.

Add your aircraft
On the home screen you add the aircraft: registration and type. Home is from then on the list of your aircraft together with the history of their walkarounds. You add an aircraft once; every club member then picks it from the list.

Invite your members
In Account you create an invitation: a code or a link. The member downloads the app, registers and accepts the invitation; from that moment they see the club aircraft and their walkarounds belong to the club, not to their phone.
Flying alone with one aircraft? Skip this step, your account is also your organisation.

Your first walkaround
Before the walkaround the app confirms the aircraft, the place and that the phone is ready. Then you walk around the aircraft with the phone in your hand; the positions open as you turn, and a voice tells you where you are. At the end you tap Finish, the record is uploaded and once it is processed you get sealed evidence. Nothing else is filled in afterwards.
The evidence says what the app actually measured: in which positions around the aircraft the camera was running and what is on the video. It does not judge the condition of the aircraft for you.
Free account
One person, one aircraft, one live walkaround a day, permanently. The limit is soft: a record above it is still created and still sealed, the app only says it is above the limit. A second aircraft or a second person is already a club; write to us at office@walkcheck.eu.
Are you a club administrator?
You manage members, invitations, aircraft and the records of the whole club in the console on a computer: walkcheck.eu/console. You sign in with the same email as in the app; you set the password on the sign-in screen through Set password. The administrator guide is available after signing in.
